Kathmandu, 29 Oct: At the invitation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, a tripartite dialogue has begun. The discussion is taking place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, with representatives from political parties, the government, and the Gen-Z group participating.
Leaders from major political parties that were represented in the dissolved House of Representatives, including senior and second-tier officials, are attending the talks.
This is the first such dialogue being held in the context of creating an election-friendly environment. On behalf of the government, participants include Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, and Prime Minister’s Chief Advisor Ajay Bhadra Khanal, among others.
According to Ram Bahadur Rawal, the Prime Minister’s press coordinator, 13 representatives from the Gen-Z group are taking part in the discussion. The Prime Minister’s Secretariat stated that the agenda includes building an overall environment for the upcoming election scheduled for March 5 (Fagun 21), and reaching political consensus among stakeholders.

From the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, General Secretary Rajendra Gurung and Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha;

From CPN (Unified Socialist), Rajendra Pandey and Prakash Jwala are participating.
Representatives from the Gen-Z group include Monika Niraula, Raksha Bam, Purushottam Yadav, Samana Lawati, Khemraj Saund, Uparjan Chamling, Bhoj Bikram Thapa, Miraj Dhungana, Bibek Dahal, James Karki, Rehanraj Dangol, Amit Khanal, and Rajan Ranamagar.
The government has initiated a series of talks and consultations with relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful conduct of the House of Representatives election on the declared date.
Earlier, on October 21 (Kartik 4), the Prime Minister had held discussions between the government and political parties, and subsequently, a meeting was also held between Prime Minister Karki and the Gen-Z group in the presence of President Ram Chandra Paudel.
