Kathmandu, January 9: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 137 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 137 rupees 66 paisa. The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at 141 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 141 rupees 80 paisa, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at 169 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 170 rupees 35 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at 150 rupees 29 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 150 rupees 95 paisa.

The Australian dollar has a buying rate of 85 rupees 7 paisa and a selling rate of 85 rupees 44 paisa, the Canadian dollar has a buying rate of 95 rupees 30 paisa and a selling rate of 95 rupees 71 paisa, the one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of 100 rupees 12 paisa and a selling rate of 100 rupees 56 paisa. The Japanese 10 yen has a buying rate of 8 rupees 65 paisa and a selling rate of 8 rupees 69 paisa, the one Chinese yuan has a buying rate of 18 rupees 69 paisa and a selling rate of 18 rupees 78 paisa, the one Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of 36 rupees 51 paisa and a selling rate of 36 rupees 67 paisa, the one Qatari riyal has a buying rate of 37 rupees 60 paisa and a selling rate of 37 rupees 77 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 3 rupees 95 paisa and the selling rate is 3 rupees 97 paisa, the buying rate for one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 32 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 48 paisa, the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is 30 rupees 44 paisa and the selling rate is 30 rupees 57 paisa, the buying rate for one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 37 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 41 paisa, the buying rate for one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 26 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 32 paisa, and the buying rate for one Danish kronor is 18 rupees 92 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees. The National Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 62 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 70 paisa, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar at 444 rupees 34 paisa and the selling rate at 446 rupees 28 paisa, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar at 363 rupees 55 paisa and the selling rate at 365 rupees 15 paisa, the buying rate for one Omani rial at 356 rupees 2 paisa and the selling rate at 357 rupees 58 paisa, and the buying rate for one hundred Indian rupees at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.

The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
