Bolakhe family calls on Aussie envoy in hope of finding whereabouts of ‘missing’ son

Kavrepalanchowk, Aug 14: Australia’s ambassador to Nepal, Felicity Volk, has been urged to help find the whereabouts of Subash Bolakhe who has been reportedly missing from Sidney of Australia for 18 days. Panchkhal municipality mayor Mahesh Kharel today visited the Embassy of Australia in Maharajgunj in Kathmandu to request cooperation from the Australian government to locate the Nepali student. He reached there along with the family of Subash. In response, the ambassador assured of a prompt search operation for the Nepali student. According to Sudarshan Bolakhe, the father of Subash, his younger son, 27 of municipality-7 who reached Australia nine months ago to pursue higher studies had been staying alone, and has now lost contact with the family. “We are hopeful of good news regarding our son soon after meeting with the ambassador.” The Bolakhe family has appealed to the Nepali community in Sydney and other bodies concerned for support to find the whereabouts of Subash.
