Kathmandu, 24 May: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is 136 rupees 05 paisa and the selling rate is 136 rupees 65 paisa.
The buying rate for one European Euro is 154 rupees 51 paisa and the selling rate is 155 rupees 19 paisa. The buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is 183 rupees 67 paisa and the selling rate is 184 rupees 48 paisa. The buying rate for one Swiss Franc is 164 rupees 85 paisa and the selling rate is 165 rupees 58 paisa.
The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is 87 rupees 94 paisa and the selling rate is 88 rupees 33 paisa. The buying rate for one Canadian Dollar is 98 rupees 50 paisa and the selling rate is 98 rupees 93 paisa. The buying rate for one Singapore Dollar is 105 rupees 81 paisa and the selling rate is 106 rupees 28 paisa.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees 50 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 54 paisa. The buying rate for one Chinese Yuan is 18 rupees 94 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 02 paisa. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36 rupees 27 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 43 paisa. The Rastra Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It has also been mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ based on the open market and that the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
