Ghodaghodi (Kailali), Bhadra 13 (August 29): 60 years old Padma Devi Dhami of Ghodaghodi municipality-1 in Kailali keeps counting her fingers when Saturday will come. If Saturday came, she was in hurry to finish her works to go to the nearby dry market. The reason for that is performing Deuda.
On Saturdays, Deuda is performed in Ghodaghodi-1, Sukhad. Dhami said, ” I am from Achchham sir! in the past, the performing was in performed in the mountains, but after coming to the plains, Deuda was performed in bazar. That’s why I believe that when Saturday will come”.
Like Dhami, Dhansara Joshi of Ghodaghodi municipality-8 also waits Saturday. She says, "since start of this performing, I come to perform this Deuda every Saturday. When dancing Deuda, she remembers her childhood".
