Kathmandu, 30 Jan: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Friday. According to the rates set, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at NPR 146.84 and the selling rate at NPR 147.44.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at NPR 175.45 and the selling rate at NPR 176.17. The UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 202.54 and a selling rate of NPR 203.36, while the Swiss franc has been fixed at NPR 191.06 for buying and NPR 191.84 for selling.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at NPR 103.33 and the selling rate at NPR 103.75. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is being traded at NPR 108.33 for buying and NPR 108.77 for selling, and the Singapore dollar at NPR 116.06 for buying and NPR 116.53 for selling.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at NPR 9.57 and the selling rate at NPR 9.61. The Chinese yuan is being traded at NPR 21.14 for buying and NPR 21.23 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at NPR 39.15 for buying and NPR 39.31 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is being traded at NPR 40.29 for buying and NPR 40.46 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has been fixed at NPR 4.70 for buying and NPR 4.72 for selling. The UAE dirham is being traded at NPR 39.98 for buying and NPR 40.14 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at NPR 37.39 for buying and NPR 37.54 for selling.
Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at NPR 10.22 and the selling rate at NPR 10.27. The Swedish krona is being traded at NPR 16.61 for buying and NPR 16.67 for selling, while the Danish krona has been fixed at NPR 23.50 for buying and NPR 23.59 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 18.81 and the selling rate at NPR 18.89. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at NPR 481.84 for buying and NPR 483.81 for selling. Likewise, the Bahraini dinar has been fixed at NPR 389.34 for buying and NPR 390.93 for selling, and the Omani riyal at NPR 381.43 for buying and NPR 382.99 for selling. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
