Kathmandu, 28 January: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currencies for today. According to the fixed exchange rate, the value of the US dollar has increased again today. Similarly, the value of the European Euro, UK Pound Sterling, and Swiss Franc have also increased.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar for today has been fixed at 137 rupees 86 paisa and the selling rate at 138 rupees 46 paisa. The buying rate of one euro has been set at 144 rupees 93 paisa and the selling rate at 145 rupees 56 paisa, the buying rate of one pound sterling has been set at 172 rupees 43 paisa and the selling rate at 173 rupees 18 paisa, the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at 153 rupees 67 paisa and the selling rate at 154 rupees 34 paisa.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at 86 rupees 82 paisa and the selling rate at 87 rupees 20 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been set at 93 rupees 3 paisa and the selling rate at 96 rupees 45 paisa, the buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been set at 102 rupees 64 paisa and the selling rate at 103 rupees 9 paisa.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 8 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees, the buying rate of 1 Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 1 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 9 paisa, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian riyal is 36 rupees 75 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 91 paisa, the buying rate of 1 Qatari riyal is 37 rupees 81 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 98 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 10 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 12 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 53 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 70 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 31 rupees 49 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 62 paisa, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 63 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 67 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 59 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 65 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 42 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 51 paisa.
The National Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 70 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 78 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 447 rupees 67 paisa and the selling rate at 449 rupees 62 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 365 rupees 68 paisa and the selling rate at 367 rupees 27 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 358 rupees 9 paisa and the selling rate at 359 rupees 65 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
