Kathmandu, 31th January: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 138 rupees 31 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 138 rupees 91 paisa. The value of the dollar has increased compared to Thursday.
The buying rate for one European Euro is 143 rupees 76 paisa and the selling rate is 144 rupees 38 paisa, the buying rate for one UK Pound Sterling is 171 rupees 93 paisa and the selling rate is 172 rupees 68 paisa, and the buying rate for one Swiss Franc is 152 rupees 21 paisa and the selling rate is 152 rupees 87 paisa.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar has been set at 86 rupees 13 paisa and the selling rate at 86 rupees 50 paisa, the buying rate for one Canadian dollar has been set at 96 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate at 96 rupees 42 paisa, and the buying rate for one Singapore dollar has been set at 102 rupees 34 paisa and the selling rate at 102 rupees 79 paisa.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 8 rupees 95 paisa and the selling rate is 8 rupees 99 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 19 rupees 07 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 16 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36 rupees 87 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 03 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 37 rupees 94 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 10 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 4 rupees 10 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 12 paisa, the buying rate for one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 66 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 82 paisa, the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is 31 rupees 48 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 62 paisa, the buying rate for one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 59 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 63 paisa, the buying rate for one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 60 paisa, and the buying rate for one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 27 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 35 paisa.
The National Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 75 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 83 paisa, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar at 448 rupees 37 paisa and the selling rate at 450 rupees 32 paisa, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar at 366 rupees 89 paisa and the selling rate at 368 rupees 49 paisa, the buying rate for one Omani rial at 359 rupees 25 paisa and the selling rate at 360 rupees 81 paisa, and the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
