The US dollar and euro remain stable, while other foreign currencies fluctuate

Kathmandu, January 10: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. The value of the US dollar and the European euro has remained stable today, according to the rate set by the National Bank. Similarly, the value of the Singapore dollar, Japanese yen, Thai baht, South Korean won, Swedish kronor, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar has increased. The value of the UK pound sterling, Swiss franc, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, and Qatari riyal has decreased.

According to the exchange rate, the buying rate of one US dollar is 137 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate is 137 rupees 66 paisa. The buying rate of one European euro is 141 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate is 141 rupees 80 paisa, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is 168 rupees 39 paisa and the selling rate is 169 rupees 12 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss franc is 150 rupees 22 paisa and the selling rate is 150 rupees 88 paisa.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 84 rupees 93 paisa and the selling rate is 85 rupees 30 paisa, the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is 95 rupees 24 paisa and the selling rate is 95 rupees 66 paisa, and the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is 100 rupees 13 paisa and the selling rate is 100 rupees 57 paisa.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 8 rupees 68 paisa and the selling rate is 8 rupees 72 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 18 rupees 69 paisa and the selling rate is 18 rupees 77 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36 rupees 51 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 67 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 37 rupees 59 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 76 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 3 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate is 3 rupees 98 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 32 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 48 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 30 rupees 44 paisa and the selling rate is 30 rupees 57 paisa, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 38 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 42 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 29 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 34 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 18 rupees 92 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees.

The National Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 62 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 69 paisa, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar at 444 rupees 43 paisa and the selling rate at 446 rupees 38 paisa, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar at 363 rupees 56 paisa and the selling rate at 365 rupees 16 paisa, the buying rate for one Omani rial at 356 rupees 2 paisa and the selling rate at 357 rupees 58 paisa, and the buying rate for one hundred Indian rupee at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.

The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
