PM Oli invited to Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit

Kathmandu, Aug 13: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has received an invitation from the King of Qatar to attend the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit to be held in Qatar in coming October. Ambassador of Qatar to Nepal, Mishaal Bin Mohamed Ali Al-Ansari met Prime Minister Oli at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singh Durbar today and handed over the invitation. On the occasion, matters of mutual interests and relations between the two countries were discussed, according to the PM’s Secretariat. A total of 35 member states including Nepal are members of the ACD. Nepal has been a member of ACD since 2016. Based in Kuwait City, the ACD is an intergovernmental organization established on 18 June 2002 to promote Asian cooperation at a continental level and to ensure coordination among different regional organizations such as the ASEAN, the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Eurasian Economic Union, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, and the SAARC.
