History
     Langtang is in Rasuwa district of Bagmati province. It is north east side from Kathmandu. Langtang village is thought to have been settled ethnic Tibetans in the 15th century. Local legends say that a traveling Buddhist Lama was chasing an escaped yak when he found the fertile valley. Langtang people depended on agriculture of its history.
     Tourism began in the 1970s in Langtang, increasing economic opportunity for the residents. It is located near several mountains between 8000 to 10000 feet above the village. Langtang became a popular destination among the trekkers due to its beautiful landscape, beautiful scene of mountain Langtang Lirung, several lakes of Langtang National Park. Langtang valley and Langtang village are most of beautiful valley in the Himalayas. It is average of 20000 visitors visit every year. It is most popular 3rd trekking destination in Nepal.
