Kathmandu, 13 December: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that his main mantra is to maintain national unity by building an inclusive and egalitarian society.
Addressing the National Women’s Gathering ‘Indigenous Women for Increasing Representation and Access to Politics’ organized by the Nepal Democratic Indigenous Nationalities Federation Nepal today, Prime Minister Oli said that emphasis should be placed on the effective implementation of the fundamental rights guaranteed by the constitution to raise the living standards of the backward communities.
Prime Minister Oli, who is also the Chairman of the CPN (UML), mentioned that his party has been giving special importance to establishing the rights of indigenous peoples and all women. He resolved to uplift every caste, build a society based on social justice and equality.

Prime Minister Oli said that backward communities would be brought forward by providing easy access to education and employment, and urged indigenous peoples to preserve their traditions, art, and culture.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung participated in the Indigenous Women’s National Women’s Gathering-2081 held in Kathmandu on Friday. The gathering brought together numerous representatives, including women leaders and activists, to discuss strategies for empowerment and political engagement. Organized by the National Indigenous Women’s Federation (NIWF), the event also underscored the contributions of Nepalese indigenous women in preserving cultural identities while pushing for equality and justice in modern governance.
