The value of the US dollar is stable, which foreign currencies have increased in value and which have decreased in value?

Kathmandu, 27 January: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign currency exchange rates for today. While the value of the US dollar is stable today, the value of the European Euro, British Pound Sterling, Singapore Dollar, and South Korean Won has increased. The value of the Swiss Franc, Canadian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, and Swedish Krona has decreased. In addition, the value of other foreign currencies is stable.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar today is 137 rupees 64 paisa and the selling rate is 138 rupees 24 paisa. The buying rate of one euro has been set at 144 rupees 44 paisa and the selling rate at 145 rupees 07 paisa, the buying rate of one pound sterling has been set at 171 rupees 80 paisa and the selling rate at 172 rupees 55 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at 151 rupees 95 paisa and the selling rate at 152 rupees 61 paisa.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at 86 rupees 87 paisa and the selling rate at 87 rupees 25 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 95 rupees 95 paisa and the selling rate at 96 rupees 37 paisa, the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 102 rupees 26 paisa and the selling rate at 102 rupees 70 paisa.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 8 rupees 82 paisa and the selling rate is 8 rupees 86 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan is 19 rupees and the selling rate is 19 rupees 08 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is 36 rupees 69 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 85 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is 37 rupees 75 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 92 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 10 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 11 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 47 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 64 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 31 rupees 44 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 58 paisa, the buying rate of one South Korean won is 9 rupees 63 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 67 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 65 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 36 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 44 paisa.

The National Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 68 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 75 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 446 rupees 72 paisa and the selling rate at 448 rupees 67 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 365 rupees 13 paisa and the selling rate at 366 rupees 72 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 357 rupees 59 paisa and the selling rate at 359 rupees 15 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.

The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
