Demand for the removal of Chairman Lamichhane from the MP position

Kathmandu, 7 February: Members of the National Independent Party (NIP) have demanded the removal of party President Rabi Lamichhane from his MP post. Speaking during the zero hour of the House of Representatives, the NIP members demanded the removal of his MP post.

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) MP Dol Prasad Aryal accused Speaker Lamichhane of being framed and framed for political vendetta. He said, “I request through the Speaker to immediately remove Lamichhane from his position as an MP while he is not in jail.”

RSP MP Binita Kathayat countered by asking if the money of the cooperative victims was returned if Chairman Lamichhane was detained. She objected to the neglect in resolving the problems of the cooperative victims.

During the zero hour, the lawmakers highlighted the problems seen in their respective areas. During the meeting, lawmaker Thakur Prasad Gerai suggested that the remaining work on the Butwal-Palpa road be completed on time. MP Tara Lama Tamang demanded that sugarcane farmers be paid on time. Stating that the elephant threat in Kanchanpur has caused damage to agriculture, she demanded appropriate compensation for the farmers.

MP Dr. Tosima Karki complained that the citizens of Lalitpur are suffering due to tipper terror. He said that tractors should be banned from operating in populated areas as accidents due to tractor terror have increased on the Nakkhu-Bhainipati road. MP Damodar Poudel Bairagi said that the bill was made to provide services to the people at an accelerated pace and that there is a need for a Pokhara International Conference Center and a heart treatment center in Pokhara.

MP Durga Rai objected to the attempt to proceed with the construction of the cable car in Pathibhara without obtaining consent as Taplejung is unsettled. MP Devendra Poudel requested that necessary doctors and health services be provided even though a decision has been made to build a district-level hospital in Dhorpatan, Banglung.

MP Dhanraj Gurung demanded that the upgrading of the Butwal-Siddhartha Highway be carried out at an accelerated pace. MPs Dhubra Bahadur Pradhan, Narayan Prakash Saud, Narayan Prasad Acharya, Deepa Sharma, Narayani Sharma, Nirmala Koirala, Nisha Dangi, Nainkala Thapa, Pushpa Bahadur Shah, Purna Bahadur Gharti Magar, Prakash Jwala, Pratima Gautam, Prabhu Hazara, Prem Bahadur Ale, Prem Bahadur Maharjan, Basudev Ghimire and Bindavasini Kanskar expressed their views on various issues during Zero Hour.
