Kathmandu, 24 June: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for today (Tuesday). According to the central bank, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar has been set at NPR 138.51, and the selling rate at NPR 139.11.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro has been set at NPR 158.79 and the selling rate at NPR 159.48. For the British Pound Sterling, the buying rate is NPR 185.29 and the selling rate is NPR 186.09. The Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 169.19 and a selling rate of NPR 169.93.
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 88.37 and the selling rate is NPR 88.75. For the Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 100.48 and the selling rate is NPR 100.91. The buying rate for one Singapore Dollar is NPR 107.12 and the selling rate is NPR 107.59.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.37 and the selling rate is NPR 9.41. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 19.27 and a selling rate of NPR 19.35. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is being bought at NPR 36.92 and sold at NPR 37.08.
Similarly, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.20 and a selling rate of NPR 4.22. The buying and selling rates for the UAE Dirham are NPR 37.72 and NPR 37.88 respectively. The Malaysian Ringgit is being bought at NPR 32.25 and sold at NPR 32.39.
For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is NPR 9.69 and the selling rate is NPR 10.00. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 14.22 and a selling rate of NPR 14.29, while the Danish Krone is being bought at NPR 21.29 and sold at NPR 21.38.
Today, the buying rate for one Qatari Riyal has been set at NPR 38.00 and the selling rate at NPR 38.16. On Monday, the buying rate was NPR 37.92 and the selling rate was NPR 38.09.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Omani Riyal is NPR 359.74 and the selling rate is NPR 361.30. On Monday, the buying rate was NPR 359.05 and the selling rate was NPR 360.61.
The buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar is NPR 17.64 and the selling rate is NPR 17.72. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 452.06 and a selling rate of NPR 454.02. The Bahraini Dinar is being bought at NPR 367.11 and sold at NPR 368.70.
The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may differ and that the updated official rates are available on the central bank’s website.
