Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that Pakistan is fully capable of defending its territorial integrity and sovereignty, asserting that no one can intimidate them. He stated that Pakistan has fulfilled its promise to give an appropriate response to the Indian Army.
“India cannot intimidate us,” Munir said on Monday, “no matter how many weapons it has or how large an army it claims to possess.” He emphasized that in war, it is not the number of troops but skill that matters, and claimed that Pakistan has demonstrated that skill.
“The Quran says that a small army often defeats a larger one,” he added. “Our army and the people of Pakistan stand united like a wall of steel against any aggression.”

Modi’s warning: The operation is only suspended, not ended
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described the ceasefire with Pakistan as temporary, warning that any repeat of terrorist attacks would be met with a strong response.
In a 22-minute address to the nation at 8 PM on Monday, he discussed the Pahalgam terrorist attack, “Operation Sindoor,” the Indus Waters Treaty, and India’s clear stance on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
“India suspended the operation at Pakistan’s request, but it is only a suspension. If terrorists dare to strike again, India will respond even more strongly,” Modi said.
He noted that over a hundred terrorists were killed during Operation Sindoor and emphasized that terrorism and dialogue cannot go hand in hand. “Water and blood cannot flow through the same stream. Zero tolerance for terrorism is the path to global peace,” he added.
Modi claimed that Pakistan’s state-sponsored terrorism has been exposed to the world.
“The fact that senior Pakistani military officials came to bid farewell to the terrorists has laid bare Pakistan’s ugly reality,” he said. He also stated that there is no distinction between terrorists and their sponsors, rejecting Pakistan’s nuclear threats. “India will not accept any nuclear blackmail. We will strike precisely at terrorist bases,” he declared.
Calling Operation Sindoor historic, Modi said that India’s superiority in modern warfare was proven by the use of ‘Made in India’ weapons. “Our indigenous weapons have redefined 21st-century warfare,” he said.
In conclusion, he praised the unity of the Indian military and citizens, stating that a strong India is essential for peace. “Peace is ensured through strength. If necessary, we will not hesitate to use that strength,” he concluded.
