Kathmandu, 22 April: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 136.94 and the selling rate is NPR 137.54.
The buying rate for one European Euro is NPR 155.06 and the selling rate is NPR 155.74. For the UK Pound Sterling, the buying rate is NPR 181.12 and the selling rate is NPR 181.91. The Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 167.67 and a selling rate of NPR 168.41.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 87.09 and the selling rate is NPR 87.47; for the Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 98.73 and the selling rate is NPR 99.16; and for the Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 103.98 and the selling rate is NPR 104.43.
Likewise, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.57 and the selling rate is NPR 9.61. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 18.72 and a selling rate of NPR 18.80. The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 36.49 and a selling rate of NPR 36.65. The Qatari Riyal is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 37.57 and a selling rate of NPR 37.73.
According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.08 and a selling rate of NPR 4.10. The UAE Dirham’s buying rate is NPR 37.28 and the selling rate is NPR 37.45. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 31.03 and a selling rate of NPR 31.17. The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 9.60 and a selling rate of NPR 9.64.
Furthermore, the Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 14.01 and a selling rate of NPR 14.08, while the Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 20.77 and a selling rate of NPR 20.86. The Hong Kong Dollar is trading at a buying rate of NPR 17.65 and a selling rate of NPR 17.73. The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 446.36 and a selling rate of NPR 448.32. The Bahraini Dinar is being exchanged at a buying rate of NPR 363.29 and a selling rate of NPR 364.88. The Omani Rial has a buying rate of NPR 355.69 and a selling rate of NPR 357.25.
The buying rate for INR 100 is NPR 160.00, and the selling rate is NPR 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change at any time as needed. It has also been mentioned that the exchange rates determined by commercial banks may vary and that the updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
