Kathmandu, 13 February: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currencies for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 138 rupees 74 paisa and the selling rate at 139 rupees 34 paisa. The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at 144 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate at 144 rupees 68 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been set at 172 rupees 85 paisa and the selling rate at 173 rupees 60 paisa, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at 152 rupees 36 paisa and the selling rate at 153 rupees 02 paisa. The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 87 rupees 16 paisa and the selling rate at 87 rupees 53 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 97 rupees 05 paisa and the selling rate at 97 rupees 47 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 102 rupees 55 paisa and the selling rate at 103 rupees.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees 04 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 08 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 18 rupees 98 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 06 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36 rupees 99 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 15 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 38 rupees 05 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 22 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 08 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 77 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 08 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 31 rupees 02 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 16 paisa, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is 9 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 59 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 76 paisa and the selling rate is 82 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 32 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 40 paisa.
The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 81 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 89 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 449 rupees 30 paisa and the selling rate at 451 rupees 25 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 368 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate at 369 rupees 65 paisa, and the buying rate of one Omani rial at 360 rupees 35 paisa and the selling rate at 361 rupees 91 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees and 15 paisa respectively. The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
