Kathmandu, 11th February: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rates of foreign currencies for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the value of the US dollar, European euro, UK pound sterling, and Swiss franc has increased today.
The buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 139 rupees 67 paisa and the selling rate at 140 rupees 27 paisa. The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at 144 rupees 33 paisa and the selling rate at 144 rupees 95 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been set at 173 rupees 41 paisa and the selling rate at 174 rupees 15 paisa, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at 153 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate at 154 rupees 20 paisa.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 87 rupees 74 paisa and the selling rate at 88 rupees 12 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 97 rupees 43 paisa and the selling rate at 97 rupees 84 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 103 rupees 23 paisa and the selling rate at 103 rupees 67 paisa.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 22 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 19 rupees 12 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 20 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 37 rupees 24 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 40 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 38 rupees 31 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 47 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 12 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 14 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 3 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 19 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 31 rupees 25 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 38 paisa, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is nine rupees 64 paisa and the selling rate is nine rupees 68 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 81 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 86 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 35 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 43 paisa.
The National Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 93 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 1 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 452 rupees 33 paisa and the selling rate at 454 rupees 27 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 370 rupees 52 paisa and the selling rate at 372 rupees 11 paisa, and the buying rate of one Omni Rial at 362 rupees 77 paisa and the selling rate at 364 rupees 32 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of Indian rupees 100 has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa. The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
