 More than 125000 Shalgram have been collected inside the tunnel constructed by Baglung municipality-4, Kudule. The local and foreign tourists are attracted museum located inside the tunnel, constructed 6 years ago. The museum management committee is working to preserve Shalgram. After the increase in the number of Nepalese and foreigners coming to see Shalgrams decorated in the museum, the number of Shalgram will be put more.Â
The Shalgram and tourism are together growing up. The conservation campaign of Shalgram has gained momentum after the attraction of tourists in the museum made by collecting Shalgram stones. With Shalgram at the museum of the tunnel, Damodarkund of Mustang to the area of Trivenidham, have been mapped as the sample. Now, to increase the number of Shalgram, the collection of Shalgram in Kaligandaki has gained momentum.

A large number of religious tourists come during festival like Dashain and Tihar. The Shalgram museum, which has been opened to the public for four years, has started to attract Indian tourists after doing significant work for the protection of Shalgram. Now average 300 tourists come to visit Shaligram. The construction of artistic temple and statues with Shaligram are attracted tourists.
