Kathmandu, 28 February: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar today is 139 rupees 23 paisa and the selling rate is 139 rupees 83 paisa.
For today, the buying rate of one European Euro has been set at 145 rupees 86 paisa and the selling rate at 146 rupees 49 paisa, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at 176 rupees 47 paisa and the selling rate at 177 rupees 23 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at 155 rupees 02 paisa and the selling rate at 155 rupees 69 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 87 rupees 72 paisa and the selling rate at 88 rupees 10 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 97 rupees 11 paisa and the selling rate at 97 rupees 53 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 103 rupees 78 paisa and the selling rate at 104 rupees 23 paisa.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 29 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 33 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 15 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 24 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is 37 rupees 12 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 28 paisa, the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is 38 rupees 20 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 37 paisa, the bank has stated.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 91 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 99 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 451 rupees 28 paisa and the selling rate of one is 453 rupees 23, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is 369 rupees 41 paisa and the selling rate of one is 371, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 361 rupees 64 paisa and the selling rate of one is 363 rupees 19 paisa. The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
