This is the foreign currency exchange rate for today

Kathmandu, January 3: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rates of foreign currencies for today. According to the fixed exchange rates, the prices of US dollar, Swiss franc, Australian dollar, Singapore dollar, Chinese yuan, Saudi Arabian riyal, Qatari riyal, UAE dirham, South Korean won, Swedish kronor, Kuwaiti dinar, Bahraini dinar have increased today. Similarly, the prices of European euro, Canadian dollar, Japanese yen, Malaysian ringgit, Danish kronor and Omani rial have decreased.

According to the exchange rate set by the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 136 rupees 91 paisa and the selling rate at 137 rupees 51 paisa. The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at 141 rupees 32 paisa and the selling rate at 141 rupees 94 paisa, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at 170 rupees 31 paisa and the selling rate at 171 rupees 06 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at 150 rupees 87 paisa and the selling rate at 151 rupees 53 paisa.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 85 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate at 85 rupees 43 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 94 rupees 92 paisa and the selling rate at 95 rupees 33 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 100 rupees 30 paisa and the selling rate at 100 rupees 74 paisa.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 8 rupees 71 paisa and the selling rate is 8 rupees 74 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 18 rupees 76 paisa and the selling rate is 18 rupees 84 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36 rupees 46 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 62 paisa, the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 37 rupees 56 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 72 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been set at 3 rupees 99 paisa and the selling rate at 4 rupees 01 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham at 37 rupees 27 paisa and the selling rate at 37 rupees 44 paisa, and the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit at 30 rupees 57 paisa and the selling rate at 30 rupees 70 paisa.

The buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is set at 9 rupees 33 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 37 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 36 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 41 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 18 rupees 95 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 03 paisa.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 68 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 443 rupees 79 paisa and the selling rate at 445 rupees 73 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 363 rupees 15 paisa and the selling rate at 364 rupees 74 paisa, and the buying rate of one Omani Rial at 355 rupees 61 paisa and the selling rate at 357 rupees 16 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees  15 paisa. The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. The exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
