Kathmandu, 12 December: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rates of foreign currencies for today. According to the exchange rates fixed for today, the value of European Euro, Saudi Arabian Riyal, Kuwaiti Dinar, Bahraini Dinar, etc. has increased. Similarly, the value of UK Pound Sterling, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, etc. has decreased.
According to the exchange rate set by Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar today is 135 rupees 37 paisa and the selling rate is 135 rupees 97 paisa. The buying rate of one European Euro is 142 rupees 17 paisa and the selling rate is 142 rupees 80 paisa, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling is 170 rupees 83 paisa and the selling rate is 171 rupees 59 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc is 151 rupees 63 paisa and the selling rate is 152 rupees 30 paisa. The central bank has set the buying rate of one Australian dollar at 86 rupees 14 paisa and the selling rate at 86 rupees 52 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 95 rupees 12 paisa and the selling rate at 95 rupees 54 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 100 rupees 35 paisa and the selling rate at 100 rupees 80 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been set at 8 rupees 81 paisa and the selling rate at 8 rupees 85 paisa, the buying rate of 1 Chinese yuan at 18 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 69 paisa, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian riyal at 36 rupees 03 paisa and the selling rate at 36 rupees 19 paisa, and the buying rate of 1 Qatari riyal at 37 rupees 13 paisa and the selling rate at 37 rupees 30 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 3 rupees 43 paisa and the selling rate is 3 rupees 99 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 36 rupees 86 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 02 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 30 rupees 42 paisa and the selling rate is 30 rupees 56 paisa. The buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 43 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 47 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 33 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 38 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 41 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 49 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 439 rupees 76 paisa and the selling rate at 441 rupees 70 paisa, and the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 359 rupees 07 paisa and the selling rate at 360 rupees 66 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of one Omni riyal has been set at 351 rupees 61 paisa and the selling rate at 353 rupees 17 paisa. The buying rate of one Indian Rupee has been set at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.Â
