Kathmandu, 25 March: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currencies for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the value of the US dollar has decreased today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 136 rupees 72 paisa and the selling rate at 137 rupees 32 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European Euro has been set at 148 rupees 28 paisa and the selling rate at 148 rupees 93 paisa, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at 177 rupees 16 paisa and the selling rate at 177 rupees 94 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at 155 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate at 155 rupees 86 paisa. The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 86 rupees 11 paisa and the selling rate at 86 rupees 49, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 95 rupees 49 paisa and the selling rate at 95 rupees 91 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 102 rupees 27 paisa and the selling rate at 102 rupees 72 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees 13 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 17 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 18 rupees 85 paisa and the selling rate is 18 rupees 93 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36 rupees 45 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 61 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 37 rupees 51 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 67 paisa. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been set at 4 rupees 04 paisa and the selling rate at 4 rupees 06 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham at 37 rupees 22 paisa and the selling rate at 37 rupees 39 paisa, and the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit at 30 rupees 83 paisa and the selling rate at 30 rupees 97 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is set at 9 rupees 32 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 36 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is set at 13 rupees 53 paisa and the selling rate is 13 rupees 59 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is set at 19 rupees 88 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 97 paisa.
The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 59 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 67 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 443 rupees 55 paisa and the selling rate at 445 rupees 50 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 362 rupees 69 paisa and the selling rate at 364 rupees 28 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 355 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate at 356 rupees 74 paisa. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may vary based on the open market and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
