According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar today is 137 rupees 90 paisa and the selling rate is 138 rupees 50 paisa. The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at 149 rupees 52 paisa and the selling rate at 150 rupees 17 paisa, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at 178 rupees 68 paisa and the selling rate at 179 rupees 46 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at 156 rupees 48 paisa and the selling rate at 157 rupees 16 paisa.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at 86 rupees 69 paisa and the selling rate at 87 rupees 07 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 95 rupees 87 paisa and the selling rate at 96 rupees 28 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 103 rupees 28 paisa and the selling rate at 103 rupees 73 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at 9 rupees 29 paisa and the selling rate at 9 rupees 33 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan at 19 rupees 04 paisa and the selling rate at 19 rupees 12 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal at 36 rupees 76 paisa and the selling rate at 36 rupees 92 paisa, the buying rate of one Qatari riyal at 37 rupees 83 paisa and the selling rate at 37 rupees 99 paisa. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been set at 4 rupees 09 paisa and the selling rate at 4 rupees 10 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham at 37 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate at 37 rupees 71 paisa, and the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit at 31 rupees 16 paisa and the selling rate at 31 rupees 29 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is set at 9 rupees 40 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 44 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is set at 13 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate is 13 rupees 60 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is set at 20 rupees 04 paisa and the selling rate is 20 rupees 13 paisa. The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 74 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 82 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 447 rupees 67 paisa and the selling rate at 449 rupees 62 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 365 rupees 81 paisa and the selling rate at 367 rupees 40 paisa, the buying rate of one Omni Rial at 358 rupees 19 paisa and the selling rate at 359 rupees 74 paisa. The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website. —
