KC said that the locals will also benefit if structures such as restaurants, toilets and resting places are built for the convenience of visitors. 55-year-old Mohni Lamichhane of Tulsipur-11 says that although it was built in the year 2022, the bridge has been much talked about this time. He says, “This time, people from around the market came here to escape the heat during the long drought. After going viral on social media, it has recently started to develop in the tourism sector and has become the choice of many people. The length of the bridge, which was built at a cost of Rs 30 millions, is 400 meters. After the construction of the bridge, it has become easy for the locals to move around. Local Karvir Chaudhary said that the bridge has made it easy to connect to Tulsipur market. According to him, in the past, one had to risk crossing the Babai river, but it has become easier after the bridge was built. Chaudhary suggested that recently, it has not only connected the local citizens but also started to develop as an entertainment place for distant citizens and now the local government should take initiative to develop it as a tourist center.

For that, he informed that preparations have been made to prepare a master plan based on suggestions from the ward residents after many discussions. “Last Tuesday also, we discussed with the locals and stakeholders and took the necessary opinions and suggestions. There has also been talk about the plan to build a rubber dam on the Babai river and use stones on it. Similarly, construction of a children’s park in the nearby Moti community forest, plans for the construction of physical infrastructure there have been discussed with stakeholders at various stages”, Ward President Rawat said, “For this, it has been decided to request budget from Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, Lumbini State Government and Union Government. With everyone’s cooperation, it can be made a tourist hub.”
