Before the vigil meeting organized by the CPN-Maoist Center in Kathmandu today, the procession which started from Sundhara passed through Ratnapark, Baghbazar and reached the exhibition road. Officials of the Maoist Center are also participating in the procession. President Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and other leaders has addressed the meeting. The Maoist Center has said that it is going to hold a protest and vigilance meeting today with a 10-point agenda. For the past three months, Maoist Chairman Prachanda has been trying to gain power by striking a front against the government from the beginning.
To bring the culprits of the major corruption scandals that came to the surface to justice, to draw the government's serious attention to the issues of education, health, employment and social justice and to protect the constitution and democracy, to take the country to a two-party dictatorship and to divide other political parties. Similarly, they protested with loud slogans to put pressure to control the rising market prices and black market, to solve the problems of cooperatives, metered banks and microfinance victims.
