Damauli (Tanahun), 8 February: Tourism entrepreneurs of Bandipur have promoted ‘Visit Bandipur Year 2025’ abroad. Tourism entrepreneurs of Bandipur have promoted the ‘Visit Bandipur Year 2025’ at the ‘Exhibition and Trade Show’ organized in Istanbul, Turkey.
Tourism entrepreneurs Ashutosh Pradhan and Hari Lamichhane participated in the program and informed about the Visit Bandipur Year and the tourism potential of Bandipur. Pradhan said that the history, culture, natural beauty and adventure tourism of Bandipur have been promoted at the international level.
Bandipur currently receives one hundred thousand tourists annually. According to Surendra Thapa, chairman of the rural municipality, the Visit Year has been launched with the aim of doubling that number and promoting tourism.
He said that tourist destinations in all wards within the rural municipality will be promoted. He said, “Programs reflecting mythology will be conducted to make Bandipur Bazaar, which is a specially protected area and a mythical city, more attractive.”
During the Visit Nepal Year, a two-day package has been prepared to visit Bandipur-Chhimkeshwari-Manakamana-Gorkha Temple-Ligligkot-Bhanu Birthplace and then return to Bandipur.
