PM Oli to leave for New York to attend 79th UNGA

Kathmandu, Sept 6: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will leave here for New York, the United States of America, on September 20, leading the Nepali delegation to the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday has approved PM’s itinerary in this connection, said Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung. Nepal has been participating in the United Nations General Assembly and most of the time the Nepali delegation to the Assembly is headed by the Prime Minister. Nepal has made the United Nations Charter as an integral part of its foreign policy. Nepal has also been making important contribution to world peace remaining under the UN umbrella.
