Gandaki, October 19 (Ashoj 3): Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the National Independent Party (Rastriya Swatantra pary), has been brought to Pokhara for investigation related to the case of cooperative fraud and organized crime of Suryadarshan Savings and Loan Cooperative Society Ltd.
Lamichhane, who was arrested from Kathmandu on Friday, was brought to Pokhara by road at night after District Court Kaski allowed the police to investigate the case. According to the police, Lamichhane was taken to the District Police Office Kaski around 3 am after a health check-up at the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences. It is said that Lamichhane will be brought to court only tomorrow as today is a public holiday.
