Kathmandu, 16 Aug: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 139.79 and the selling rate is NPR 140.39.
For the European Euro, the buying rate is NPR 163.39 and the selling rate is NPR 164.09. The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 189.57 and a selling rate of NPR 190.38. The Swiss Franc’s buying rate is NPR 173.47, and the selling rate is NPR 174.21.
The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 91.05 and the selling rate is NPR 91.44. For the Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 101.37 and the selling rate is NPR 101.80. The Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 109.01 and a selling rate of NPR 109.48.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.51 and the selling rate is NPR 9.55. The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 19.47 and a selling rate of NPR 19.56. The Saudi Riyal is set at a buying rate of NPR 37.26 and a selling rate of NPR 37.42, while the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 38.35 and a selling rate of NPR 38.52.
According to the rastra bank the Thai Baht at 4 rupees 31 paisa for buying and 4 rupees 33 paisa for selling, the UAE Dirham at 38 rupees 06 paisa for buying and 38 rupees 22 paisa for selling, and the Malaysian Ringgit at 33 rupees 18 paisa for buying and 33 rupees 32 paisa for selling.
For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is 10 rupees 07 paisa and selling rate is 10 rupees 11 paisa. The Swedish Krona is set at 14 rupees 62 paisa for buying and 14 rupees 69 paisa for selling, while the Danish Krone has rates of 21 rupees 89 paisa for buying and 21 rupees 99 paisa for selling.
Additionally, the Hong Kong Dollar has a buying rate of 17 rupees 88 paisa and selling rate of 17 rupees 95 paisa. The Kuwaiti Dinar is set at 457 rupees 59 paisa for buying and 459 rupees 56 paisa for selling. The Bahraini Dinar has rates of 370 rupees 77 paisa for buying and 372 rupees 36 paisa for selling, while the Omani Rial is set at 363 rupees 09 paisa for buying and 364 rupees 64 paisa for selling.
The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rate for the Indian Rupee (INR) at 100 INR = NPR 160.00 (buying rate) and NPR 160.15 (selling rate).
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as needed. However, commercial banks may set slightly different exchange rates. The latest and most updated exchange rates will be available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
