Kathmandu, 15 Aug: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Friday. According to the central bank, the value of the US dollar has risen slightly today. The buying rate for one US dollar is fixed at 139 rupees 79 paisa, and the selling rate at 140 rupees 39 paisa. On Thursday, the buying rate for one US dollar was 139 rupees 61 paisa, and the selling rate was 140 rupees 21 paisa.
The buying rate for one Euro is 163 rupees 35 paisa, and the selling rate is 164 rupees 05 paisa. For the UK pound sterling, the buying rate is 189 rupees 82 paisa, and the selling rate is 190 rupees 64 paisa. The Swiss franc has a buying rate of 173 rupees 45 paisa and a selling rate of 174 rupees 19 paisa.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 91 rupees 21 paisa, and the selling rate is 91 rupees 60 paisa. For the Canadian dollar, the buying rate is 101 rupees 42 paisa, and the selling rate is 101 rupees 85 paisa. The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of 109 rupees 11 paisa and a selling rate of 109 rupees 58 paisa.
For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is 9 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 58 paisa. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of 19 rupees 50 paisa and a selling rate of 19 rupees 58 paisa. The Saudi Arabian riyal is at 37 rupees 26 paisa for buying and 37 rupees 42 paisa for selling. The Qatari riyal is set at 38 rupees 36 paisa for buying and 38 rupees 52 paisa for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of 4 rupees 32 paisa and a selling rate of 4 rupees 33 paisa. The UAE dirham is at 38 rupees 06 paisa for buying and 38 rupees 22 paisa for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is 33 rupees 18 paisa for buying and 33 rupees 33 paisa for selling. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is 10 rupees 08 paisa and the selling rate is 10 rupees 13 paisa. The Swedish krona is at 14 rupees 61 paisa for buying and 14 rupees 67 paisa for selling. The Danish krone is set at 21 rupees 89 paisa for buying and 21 rupees 98 paisa for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of 17 rupees 83 paisa and a selling rate of 17 rupees 90 paisa. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at 457 rupees 80 paisa for buying and 459 rupees 77 paisa for selling. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of 370 rupees 77 paisa and a selling rate of 372 rupees 36 paisa. The Omani rial is at 363 rupees 09 paisa for buying and 364 rupees 64 paisa for selling.
For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
