Kathmandu, 17 April: Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the foreign exchange rates for Thursday. According to the rates set for the day, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 137.79 and the selling rate is NPR 137.39.
The buying rate of one European Euro is NPR 155.51 and the selling rate is NPR 156.19. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling is NPR 181.56 and the selling rate is NPR 182.36. The buying rate of one Swiss Franc is NPR 167.46 and the selling rate is NPR 168.19.
For one Australian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 87.20 and the selling rate is NPR 87.58. For one Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 98.30 and the selling rate is NPR 98.74. For one Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 104.13 and the selling rate is NPR 104.59.
Likewise, the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.59 and the selling rate is NPR 9.63. The buying rate for one Chinese Yuan is NPR 18.72 and the selling rate is NPR 18.81. One Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 36.45 and a selling rate of NPR 36.61. One Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 37.53 and a selling rate of NPR 37.69.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is NPR 4.12 and the selling rate is NPR 4.13. One UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 37.24 and a selling rate of NPR 37.40. The buying rate for one Malaysian Ringgit is NPR 31.01 and the selling rate is NPR 31.15. For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is NPR 9.64 and the selling rate is NPR 9.69. The Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 13.93 and a selling rate of NPR 14.00, while the Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 20.83 and a selling rate of NPR 20.92.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 17.63 and the selling rate at NPR 17.71. The buying rate for one Kuwaiti Dinar is NPR 446.24 and the selling rate is NPR 448.20. One Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 362.87 and a selling rate of NPR 364.46. The buying rate for one Omani Rial is NPR 355.30 and the selling rate is NPR 356.86.
The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15.
The central bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
