Kathmandu, 09 Aug: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at 139 rupees 96 paisa, and the selling rate at 140 rupees 56 paisa. On Friday, the buying rate was 140 rupees 03 paisa and the selling rate was 140 rupees 63 paisa.

The buying rate for one European euro has been set at 162 rupees 94 paisa and the selling rate at 163 rupees 64 paisa. On Friday, the buying rate was 163 rupees 20 paisa and the selling rate was 163 rupees 90 paisa.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 91 rupees 30 paisa and the selling rate is 91 rupees 69 paisa. On the previous day, the buying rate was 91 rupees 33 paisa and the selling rate was 91 rupees 72 paisa.

The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is 188 rupees 11 paisa and the selling rate is 188 rupees 92 paisa, while the buying rate for one Swiss franc is 173 rupees 23 paisa and the selling rate is 173 rupees 97 paisa.

The buying rate for one Canadian dollar is 101 rupees 93 paisa and the selling rate is 102 rupees 36 paisa, the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is 108 rupees 94 paisa and the selling rate is 109 rupees 40 paisa, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 47 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 51 paisa, the buying rate for one Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 48 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 57 paisa, the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is 37 rupees 29 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 45 paisa, and the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is 38 rupees 40 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 56 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 4 rupees 32 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 34 paisa, the buying rate for one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 11 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 37 paisa, the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is 33 rupees 01 paisa and the selling rate is 33 rupees 15 paisa, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is 10 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate is 10 rupees 11 paisa, the buying rate for one Swedish krona is 14 rupees 58 paisa and the selling rate is 14 rupees 64 paisa, and the buying rate for one Danish krone is 21 rupees 83 paisa and the selling rate is 21 rupees 92 paisa.

The Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 83 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 91 paisa, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar at 458 rupees 04 paisa and the selling rate at 460 rupees 01 paisa, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar at 371 rupees 24 paisa and the selling rate at 372 rupees 83 paisa, and the buying rate for one Omani rial at 363 rupees 52 paisa and the selling rate at 365 rupees 01 paisa. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
