Kathmandu, 7 December: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 135 rupees 21 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 135 rupees 81 paisa.
The buying rate of the European Euro is 143.7 paisa and the selling rate is 143.71 paisa, the buying rate of the UK Pound Sterling is 172 rupees 57 paisa and the selling rate is 173 rupees33 paisa, the buying rate of the Swiss Franc is 154 rupees 8 paisa and the selling rate is 154 rupees 76 paisa. On Friday, the buying rate of the US Dollar is 135 rupees 28 paisa and the selling rate is 135 rupees 88 paisa, the buying rate of the European Euro is 142 rupees 39 paisa and the selling rate is 143 rupees 2 paisa, the buying rate of the UK Pound Sterling is 172 rupees 7 and the selling rate is 172 rupees 83 paisa, the buying rate of the Swiss Franc is 153 rupees 1 paisa and the selling rate is 153 rupees 69 paisa.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 86 rupees 83 paisa and the selling rate is 87 rupees 21 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is 96 rupees 30 paisa and the selling rate is 96 rupees 73 paisa, the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 100 rupees 92 paisa and the selling rate is 101 rupees 37 paisa. The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 8 rupees 98 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 2 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese yuan is 18 rupees 61 paisa and the selling rate is 18 rupees 69 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is 35 rupees 36 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 15 paisa, the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is 37 rupees 9 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 25 paisa.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 38 and the selling rate at 17 rupees 46 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 440 rupees 5 paisa and the selling rate at 442 rupees, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 358 rupees 55 paisa and the selling rate at 360 rupees 14 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani riyal at 351 rupees 19 paisa, the selling rate at 352 rupees 75 paisa and the buying rate of one Indian rupee at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa. The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. The exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
