Malekhu, Dhading, 15 Bhadra (15 Aug): The condition of the roads across the country is miserable due to heavy rain, mud, slip and landslides. Since then, the Prithvi Highway has not yet good condition to use. Dhading section of the highway is more dangerous. Today, even an ambulance takes at least four hours to reach Kathmandu from Dhadingbesi through Prithvi Highway. Due to this bad condition of Prithvi Highway, the patients arriving at Dhading hospital are forced to use helicopter.
Bhawana Rizal, a three day old baby born in Neelkanth Municipality-3, was brought to Kathmandu using a helicopter this afternoon. There is a risk of landslide during the rainy season, and the highway is blocked due to dry landslides, so we had to pay expensive fee and use helicopter.
