An armed policeman who was arrested on charges of raping a girl committed suicide in custody

Dang: An armed policeman who was arrested in a girl rape case in Dang committed suicide while in custody. Revan Pachbhaiya Magarpe of the armed police was arrested on the charge of girl rape in Bhalubang on Friday.

Dang police chief Arjun Timilsina informed that he was found hanging himself in the custody of the ward police office by making a cloth trap that he wore himself.

Pachbhaiya, an armed police constable with a house in Pyuthan Baddanda, was found hanging in the toilet of the detention center at 5 am in the morning wearing a ganji and a T-shirt. Suicidal Revan had confessed to raping the girl in the statement. According to police sources, he also committed suicide.
