Jhapa, 15 Bhadra (31 Aug): A woman died this evening after a bus collided with her at Birtamode on the East-West Highway. The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Tulsa Panchkoti of Ilam Municipality-4, according to the area police office Anarmani.
A passenger bus No. 1-02-002 B 0035 hit a motorcycle No. 1-01-013 P 5700 crossing the road. She was sitting on the back of a motorcycle after being hit by a bus and was sent to BNDC Hospital in Virtamod for treatment. The police said that she died on the way to the hospital for treatment.
According to the police, 29-year-old Himal Bishwakarma, a resident of Kankai Municipality-3, and Thir Prasad Subedi, a motorcyclist from Mai Municipality-4, were arrested and kept at the area police office, Anarmani, for investigation.
