A doli with flowers was sent for Hanumandhoka’s palace

Gorkha 10 October: A doli with flowers has been sent from Dashainghar at Gorkha Darbar to Hanuman Dhoka Darbar in Kathmandu. Sharada Prasad Bhattarai, the original priest of Gorakhkali temple, said that on auspicious day this morning, the priests of the palace performed ritual prayers and sent flowers to the Hunuman dhoka palace.

Flowers were sent from the Gorkha palace after taking out a rally with accessories. After the flowers are brought to the Hanuman Door in Kathmandu, it is a tradition to bring the Hanuman Door into the Durbar with much fanfare this evening. He said that since Gorkha King Prithvi Narayan Shah started his reign from Hanumandhoka Palace in Kathmandu, every year on the seventh day of Bada dashain, a doli with flowers from the Dashainghar of Gorkha Palace is brought into Hanumandhoka Palace.
