Kathmandu, 28 Aug: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for Thursday. According to the Rastra Bank, today the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 140 rupees and the selling rate at 140 rupees and 60 paisa respectively.
The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at 162 rupees 17 paisa and the selling rate at 162 rupees 86 paisa, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at 188 rupees 03 paisa and the selling rate at 188 rupees 84 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at 173 rupees 47 paisa and the selling rate at 174 rupees 21 paisa.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at 90 rupees 51 paisa and the selling rate at 90 rupees 90 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 101 rupees 09 paisa and the selling rate at 101 rupees 52 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 108 rupees 58 paisa and the selling rate at 109 rupees 05 paisa.
Similarly, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 45 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 49 paisa, the buying rate of 1 Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 55 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 63 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is 37 rupees 31 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 47 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is 38 rupees 40 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 57 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 31 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 33 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 12 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 28 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 33 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate is 33 rupees 20 paisa, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 10 rupees 01 paisa and the selling rate is 10 rupees 06 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 14 rupees 59 paisa and the selling rate is 14 rupees 65 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 21 rupees 72 paisa and the selling rate is 21 rupees 82 paisa.
The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 99 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 06 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 457 rupees 79 paisa and the selling rate at 459 rupees 75 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 371 rupees 31 paisa and the selling rate at 372 rupees 90 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 363 rupees 66 paisa and the selling rate at 365 rupees 22 paisa. The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
