Here is the foreign exchange rate for today

Kathmandu, 17 Aug: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is 139 rupees 79 paisa and the selling rate is 140 rupees 39 paisa. The buying rate for one European euro is 163 rupees 39 paisa and the selling rate is 164 rupees 09 paisa. Similarly, one UK pound sterling has a buying rate of 189 rupees 57 paisa and a selling rate of 190 rupees 38 paisa, while one Swiss franc has a buying rate of 173 rupees 47 paisa and a selling rate of 174 rupees 21 paisa.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 91 rupees 05 paisa and the selling rate is 91 rupees 44 paisa, while one Canadian dollar has a buying rate of 101 rupees 37 paisa and a selling rate of 101 rupees 80 paisa. For one Singapore dollar, the buying rate is 109 rupees 01 paisa and the selling rate is 109 rupees 48 paisa. Likewise, 10 Japanese yen have a buying rate of 9 rupees 51 paisa and a selling rate of 9 rupees 55 paisa. One Chinese yuan has a buying rate of 19 rupees 47 paisa and a selling rate of 19 rupees 56 paisa. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is 37 rupees 26 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 42 paisa, while one Qatari riyal has a buying rate of 38 rupees 35 paisa and a selling rate of 38 rupees 52 paisa.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 4 rupees 31 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 33 paisa. For one UAE dirham, the buying rate is 38 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 22 paisa. One Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of 33 rupees 18 paisa and a selling rate of 33 rupees 32 paisa. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is 10 rupees 07 paisa and the selling rate is 10 rupees 11 paisa. The buying rate for one Swedish krona is 14 rupees 62 paisa and the selling rate is 14 rupees 69 paisa, while one Danish krone has a buying rate of 21 rupees 89 paisa and a selling rate of 21 rupees 99 paisa. Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 88 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 95 paisa, one Kuwaiti dinar at 457 rupees 59 paisa for buying and 459 rupees 56 paisa for selling, one Bahraini dinar at 370 rupees 77 paisa for buying and 372 rupees 36 paisa for selling, and one Omani riyal at 363 rupees 09 paisa for buying and 364 rupees 64 paisa for selling. For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is set at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.

The central bank has said that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also clarified that the rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
