The Historic and Immortal Records Set by World Record Holder Dr. Raksha Kumar Rai in Service of the Nations

Kathmandu, 17 Jul: Dr. Raksha Kumar Rai (also known as “Abhiyan”) was born on Tuesday, Kartik 9, 2045 B.S. (circa October 1988 A.D.) as the youngest son of Ram Bahadur Rai and Chandra Devi Rai. He hails from Dorsa, Ward No. 6 of the former Chhinamakhu VDC in Bhojpur District, now part of Ward No. 2, Temke Maiyung Rural Municipality.

Dr. Rai has dedicated his life to social and national service. Since 2078 B.S., he has served as the Central General Secretary of Samyukta Aawaj Parivartan Samaj, actively working to support the poor and underprivileged. He has been politically active since 2059 B.S., advocating for national transformation. In the 2082/83 B.S. general elections, he ran as a candidate for Member of Parliament (House of Representatives) from Kathmandu Constituency No. 3.

In his hometown, Dr. Rai has contributed to youth development by offering Shito-Ryu Karate training and English language instruction for 3–4 years. In addition to his social and educational work, he is a published author. His books include The New Alien British English Language, Alien Advanced English Grammar, and Alien English Grammar, among others.

Dr. Rai holds an astounding 11 world records, including several Guinness World Records and other internationally recognized feats, breaking numerous existing benchmarks in their respective categories.

He also holds the distinction of being the youngest person in the world to receive six honorary Doctorate PhDs by the age of 36. These degrees were awarded by renowned universities across various fields:

  1. Multiple World Records Research – Webbic University, Ghana (first honorary PhD)

  2. Management/Commerce – Webbic University, Ghana

  3. Martial Arts – Hessen International University, Germany

  4. Creative Book Writing – Hessen International University, Germany

  5. Sociology – Cambridge University, USA

  6. Political Science – Cuneo University, Italy

He has also completed his final research in Geology and is set to receive his seventh honorary PhD from another prominent international university.

Dr. Rai is not just the first Nepali youth to achieve such a high number of world records and honorary doctorates at a young age, but also a shining star who has stunned the world with his multifaceted brilliance. He is a social worker, author, 4th Dan black belt in Shito-Ryu Karate, and an international referee and coach.

His remarkable achievements have brought honor, pride, and prestige to Nepal, earning him a distinguished place in the nation’s history. Dr. Rai currently serves as:

  • Brand Ambassador of the OMG Book of World Records

  • Coordinator of the Universal Records Forum

  • Coordinator of the Exclusive Book of World Records

Not only has he set numerous world records himself, but Dr. Rai has also played a pivotal role in helping other Nepali talents secure global recognition. He has actively collaborated with prestigious international universities to help deserving Nepalis receive honorary doctorate degrees, amplifying Nepal’s image on the global stage.

He says, “To build or transform this nation, politics is not essential—a beautiful country can be built through sound education policy. That is why I have proposed a visionary principle: ‘A Miracle Theory of a Prosperous Nation.’ This is my grand national mission for nation-building.
