Hetauda, 6 May: According to the geologist in charge, the study will focus on the geological structure of the incident site, underground water sources, magnetic fields, and related aspects.
The official informed that a data-based study will be conducted on the soil surface of the site and the possible causes of the incident. A proton magnetometer will be used to examine the magnetic field and the presence of other materials.
On Friday afternoon, a single-cab Bolero pickup truck with the registration number Na 4 Cha 4833 suddenly sank into the ground while in motion and disappeared, according to the vehicle owner, Hariram Rai. Despite ongoing search efforts, the vehicle has not yet been found.
A large crater has formed at the spot where the vehicle sank, and it is now filled with murky water. The incident, in which a moving vehicle vanished underground, has drawn significant public attention.
It was only two days after the vehicle went missing that a meeting of the Disaster Management Committee was held at Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, where it was decided to seek assistance from geologists. Following that decision, a team of geologists arrived in Hetauda and has begun their investigation.
When the vehicle began to sink, both the driver and the assistant jumped out to save their lives.
