Kathmandu, 3 May: Nepal has promoted its tourism in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Nepal Tourism Board showcased Nepal’s diverse tourist destinations and potential at the “Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025” held in Dubai.
The international travel fair took place at the Dubai World Trade Center from April 28 to May 1, where Nepal emphasized adventure tourism, cultural heritage, and luxury travel as priority areas for promotion, according to a press release issued by the Board.
A delegation led by the Board’s Senior Manager, Navin Pokharel, held various business-to-business (B2B) meetings with international tour operators, travel agents, and media professionals to highlight the unique features of Nepal’s tourism.
During the event, the Board distributed brochures, travel guides, and traditional Nepali handicrafts to promote Nepal’s tourism diversity and experiences. The Nepal Tourism Board stated that a prestigious international fair like ATM provides a significant platform to present Nepal’s Himalayan beauty, rich cultural heritage, and adventurous, eco-friendly tourism opportunities to the global tourism market.
Along with the Board, 12 private Nepali travel and tourism companies also participated in ATM 2025. The Board noted that the active involvement of the private sector has further strengthened Nepal’s international presence in tourism. Senior Manager Navin Pokharel expressed that Nepal’s participation in ATM offers an opportunity to introduce the country to new markets and that such participation is vital for the sustainable development of Nepal’s tourism industry.
