Kathmandu, 1 May: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign currency exchange rates. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar is NPR 134.89, and the selling rate is NPR 135.49.
The buying rate for one European Euro is NPR 153.46 and the selling rate is NPR 154.49. For one British Pound Sterling, the buying rate is NPR 180.27 and the selling rate is NPR 181.08. The buying rate for one Swiss Franc is NPR 163.56 and the selling rate is NPR 164.29.
The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 86.26 and the selling rate is NPR 86.64. For one Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 97.54 and the selling rate is NPR 97.73. For one Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 103.27 and the selling rate is NPR 103.73.
For 10 Japanese Yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.44 and the selling rate is NPR 9.48. The buying rate for one Chinese Yuan is NPR 18.56 and the selling rate is NPR 18.65. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 35.96 and the selling rate is NPR 36.12. For one Qatari Riyal, the buying rate is NPR 37.01 and the selling rate is NPR 37.17.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is NPR 4.03 and the selling rate is NPR 4.05. For one UAE Dirham, the buying rate is NPR 36.72 and the selling rate is NPR 36.89. For one Malaysian Ringgit, the buying rate is NPR 31.26 and the selling rate is NPR 31.40. For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is NPR 9.49 and the selling rate is NPR 9.53. The buying rate for one Swedish Krona is NPR 14.00 and the selling rate is NPR 14.06. The buying rate for one Danish Krone is NPR 20.56 and the selling rate is NPR 20.65.
The central bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 17.39 and the selling rate at NPR 17.47. For one Kuwaiti Dinar, the buying rate is NPR 440.26 and the selling rate is NPR 442.21. For one Bahraini Dinar, the buying rate is NPR 357.81 and the selling rate is NPR 359.40. For one Omani Rial, the buying rate is NPR 350.37 and the selling rate is NPR 351.93. The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed. It has also mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
