Kathmandu, 29 April: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the rates set, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar is NPR 135.76, and the selling rate is NPR 136.36.
Similarly, the buying rate for one Euro is NPR 154.01 and the selling rate is NPR 154.69; the buying rate for one British Pound Sterling is NPR 181.05 and the selling rate is NPR 181.85; and the buying rate for one Swiss Franc is NPR 163.41 and the selling rate is NPR 164.13.
The buying rate for one Australian Dollar is NPR 86.83 and the selling rate is NPR 87.21; the buying rate for one Canadian Dollar is NPR 97.86 and the selling rate is NPR 98.30; and the buying rate for one Singapore Dollar is NPR 103.30 and the selling rate is NPR 103.75, according to Nepal Rastra Bank.
Additionally, the central bank has set the buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen at NPR 9.46 and the selling rate at NPR 9.50; for one Chinese Yuan, the buying rate is NPR 18.60 and the selling rate is NPR 18.68; for one Saudi Arabian Riyal, the buying rate is NPR 36.19 and the selling rate is NPR 36.35; and for one Qatari Riyal, the buying rate is NPR 37.25 and the selling rate is NPR 37.41.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is NPR 4.04 and the selling rate is NPR 4.05; the buying rate for one UAE Dirham is NPR 36.96 and the selling rate is NPR 37.12; and the buying rate for one Malaysian Ringgit is NPR 31.12 and the selling rate is NPR 31.25.
Similarly, the buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9.40 and the selling rate is NPR 9.44; for one Swedish Krona, the buying rate is NPR 14.00 and the selling rate is NPR 14.07; and for one Danish Krone, the buying rate is NPR 20.63 and the selling rate is NPR 20.72.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 17.50 and the selling rate at NPR 17.58; for one Kuwaiti Dinar, the buying rate is NPR 442.52 and the selling rate is NPR 444.47; for one Bahraini Dinar, the buying rate is NPR 360.14 and the selling rate is NPR 361.74; and for one Omani Riyal, the buying rate is NPR 352.62 and the selling rate is NPR 354.18. Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been set at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time if necessary. It has also been mentioned that the rates set by commercial banks may differ based on the open market, and the updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
