Kathmandu, March 28: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 136 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate at 137 rupees 56 paisa.
The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at 147 rupees 70 paisa and the selling rate at 148 rupees 35 paisa, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at 177 rupees 18 paisa and the selling rate at 177 rupees 95 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at 154 rupees 98 paisa and the selling rate at 155 rupees 66 paisa. The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at 86 rupees 46 paisa and the selling rate at 86 rupees 83 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 95 rupees 88 paisa and the selling rate at 96 rupees 30 paisa, the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 102 rupees 26 paisa and the selling rate at 102 rupees 71 paisa.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees 08 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 12 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 18 rupees 85 paisa and the selling rate is 18 rupees 94 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36 rupees 51 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 67 paisa, and the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 37 rupees 57 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 74 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 05 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 06 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 29 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 45 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 30 rupees 91 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 04 paisa, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 35 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 39 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 13 rupees 66 paisa and the selling rate is 13 rupees 72 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 80 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 89 paisa.
The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 61 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 69 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 444 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate at 446 rupees, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 363 rupees 27 paisa and the selling rate at 364 rupees 86 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 355 rupees 76 paisa and the selling rate at 357 rupees 32 paisa. The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
