Kathmandu, 2 February: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 138 rupees 28 paisa and the selling rate at 138 rupees 88 paisa.
The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at 143 rupees 48 paisa and the selling rate at 144 rupees 10 paisa, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at 171 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate at 172 rupees 34 paisa, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at 151 rupees 82 paisa and the selling rate at 152 rupees 8 paisa. The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 85 rupees 89 paisa and the selling rate at 86 rupees 26 paisa, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at 95 rupees 41 paisa and the selling rate at 95 rupees 82 paisa, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at 101 rupees 89 paisa and the selling rate at 102 rupees 33 paisa.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 8 rupees 94 paisa and the selling rate is 8 rupees 98 paisa, the buying rate of one Chinese Yuan is 19 rupees 07 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 15 paisa, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36 rupees 87 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 03 paisa, the buying rate of one Qatari Riyal is 37 rupees 93 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 09 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 11 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 13 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 65 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 81 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 31 rupees 04 paisa and the selling rate is 31 rupees 17 paisa, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 53 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 57 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 50 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 55 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 19 rupees 23 paisa and the selling rate is 19 rupees 31 paisa.
The National Bank has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 74 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 82 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 448 rupees 19 paisa and the selling rate at 450 rupees 13 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 366 rupees 81 paisa and the selling rate at 368 rupees 40 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 359 rupees 17 paisa and the selling rate at 360 rupees 73 paisa. Similarly, the buying rate of 100 hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
