Kathmandu, January 13: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the fixed exchange rate, the value of the US dollar has stabilized today. Similarly, the value of the European euro and Japanese yen has increased. Similarly, the value of the UK pound sterling, Swiss franc, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar, South Korean won, Swedish kronor, Danish kronor, Kuwaiti dinar, Bahraini dinar and Hong Kong dollar has decreased.
The buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 137 rupees 25 paisa and the selling rate at 137 rupees 85 paisa. The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at 141 rupees 62 paisa and the selling rate at 141 rupees 23 paisa, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at 167 rupees 56 paisa and the selling rate at 168 rupees 29 paisa, the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at 149 rupees 76 paisa and the selling rate at 150 rupees 42 paisa.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 84 rupees 38 paisa and the selling rate is 84 rupees 75 paisa, the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is 95 rupees 16 paisa and the selling rate is 95 rupees 58 paisa, and the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is 100 rupees 07 paisa and the selling rate is 100 rupees 51 paisa.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is 8 rupees 70 paisa and the selling rate is 8 rupees 74 paisa, the buying rate for one Chinese yuan is 18 rupees 72 paisa and the selling rate is 18 rupees 80 paisa, the buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is 36 rupees 56 paisa and the selling rate is 36 rupees 72 paisa, and the buying rate for one Qatari riyal is 37 rupees 65 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 81 paisa.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 3 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate is 3 rupees 98 paisa, the buying rate for one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 37 paisa and the selling rate is 37 rupees 53 paisa, the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is 30 rupees 52 paisa and the selling rate is 30 rupees 66 paisa, the buying rate for one hundred South Korean won is 9 rupees 30 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 35 paisa, the buying rate for one Swedish kronor is 12 rupees 23 paisa and the selling rate is 12 rupees 28 paisa, and the buying rate for one Danish kronor is 18 rupees 85 paisa and the selling rate is 18 rupees 93 paisa.
The National Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 62 paisa and the selling rate at 17 rupees 70 paisa, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar at 444 rupees 61 paisa and the selling rate at 446 rupees 55 paisa, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar at 364 rupees 06 paisa and the selling rate at 365 rupees 65 paisa, the buying rate for one Omani rial at 356 rupees 52 paisa and the selling rate at 358 rupees 08 paisa, and the buying rate for one hundred Indian rupees at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
