Kathmandu, 8 Feb: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the determined rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 144.76 and the selling rate at NPR 145.36.
Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is NPR 170.70 and the selling rate NPR 171.41. The UK pound sterling has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 196.72 and a selling rate of NPR 197.54, while the Swiss franc stands at NPR 186.09 for buying and NPR 186.86 for selling.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at NPR 101.01 and the selling rate at NPR 101.43. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is being traded at NPR 105.78 for buying and NPR 106.22 for selling, while the Singapore dollar has been fixed at NPR 113.68 for buying and NPR 114.16 for selling.
For the Japanese yen, the buying rate for 10 yen has been set at NPR 9.22 and the selling rate at NPR 9.26. The Chinese yuan is being traded at a buying rate of NPR 20.86 and a selling rate of NPR 20.95. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at NPR 38.60 for buying and NPR 38.76 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at NPR 39.61 for buying and NPR 39.77 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has been fixed at a buying rate of NPR 4.58 and a selling rate of NPR 4.60. The UAE dirham stands at NPR 39.41 for buying and NPR 39.58 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at NPR 36.67 for buying and NPR 36.82 for selling. The South Korean won (100 units) has been set at a buying rate of NPR 9.87 and a selling rate of NPR 9.91. The Swedish krona stands at NPR 15.98 for buying and NPR 16.05 for selling, while the Danish krone has been fixed at NPR 22.86 for buying and NPR 22.95 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 18.52 and the selling rate at NPR 18.60. The Kuwaiti dinar has been set at NPR 473.69 for buying and NPR 475.65 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar stands at NPR 383.97 for buying and NPR 385.56 for selling, while the Omani riyal has been fixed at NPR 376.02 for buying and NPR 377.58 for selling. Likewise, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
